What are the conference dates?

  • Conference: July 14 – 16, 2020
  • Pre-Conference Workshop: Tuesday, July 14, 2020
  • Sponsor Move-in: Tuesday, July 14, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Sponsor Move-out: Thursday, July 16, 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

What meals are provided? What dietary concerns will be addressed?

The below meals will be provided:

  • Continental Breakfast: Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16
  • Lunch: Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16

Where are hotel blocks reserved?

We have negotiated discounted room rates with the Hilton Cleveland Downtown.

Are there hotels attached to the Convention Center?

Yes. The Hilton Cleveland Downtown is attached.

Do any hotels offer free parking?


I’m driving to the event. Where can I park?

The Huntington Park Garage is connected to the Hilton Cleveland Downtown and the Convention Center. The garage has 1,200 attached parking spots.

There are also more than 5,000 walkable parking spaces surrounding the Convention Center provided by city surface lots and garages.

Use the Convention Center’s 3-D map to find all suitable parking options.

Is there an Uber/Lyft dropoff/pickup area at the Convention Center?

There is no designated location but Uber/Lyft are active in the Cleveland area.

What is the attire?

Business casual attire is appropriate for all functions.

Are there rules/restrictions on video or photography?

As a general rule, presentations are for the benefit of conference attendees and may not be video-recorded. Sharing photos from the conference is encouraged, but please do not disturb the production of a conference session.

Please note that by registering to attend the conference, you acknowledge and accept that you may appear in photos or videos published by show organizers, sponsors, speakers, or other attendees.

Do I need an ID to collect my name badge?


Can I have a colleague pick up my name badge for me?

Unfortunately, no. All conference attendees must stop by the registration counter to collect conference credentials.

I need to cancel. What are my options?

The cancellation and refund policies are as follows:

  • July 18, 2019 - April 13, 2020 — 50% of your registration fee will be refunded.
  • April 14, 2020 - July 14, 2020 — No refunds will be provided, but you may send a substitute in your place.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to send someone in your place, please fill out this form.

I am having technical difficulty registering. What do I do?

Can I receive a visa invitation letter?

Visa invitations may be requested during the registration process. Invitation letters will be sent via email within 10 days of receiving payment in full.

Visa letters will not be issued unless payment has been completed.

Do you have a template letter to justify the trip to my boss?

Yes. In the attached Word document, we help you make the case for attending MAICON. All you need to do is personalize the template, and send to your boss or management team. 

Do I need to pre-register for sessions?

You do not need to pre-register for conference sessions. If you are attending a workshop, you do need to select your workshop at the time of registration.

Can I download the presentations after the show?

Yes. Instructions on how to download session presentations will be emailed post-conference to all attendees.

Is there a mobile app? When does it go live, and when will we receive instructions to download?

Yes. Instructions on how to download the mobile app will be sent to registered attendees about a month before the event.

Is there an attendee list?

We do not share attendee lists; however within the app, you will be able to see who will be in attendance with you at the conference.

Do you offer a nonprofit/education discount?

Yes. We do have a limited number of discounted passes for qualified employees of nonprofits or educational institutions. To obtain the discount, nonprofits will need to provide a valid 501c3. Educational institutions will be required to send us an email from their .edu email address. Only one discounted pass will be extended per organization/institution. Are there group discounts?

Yes. Groups of four or more receive 10% off current pricing. Please register all participants at one time so the discount can be applied automatically.

How do I get added to the Marketing Artificial Intelligence Institute newsletter/email list?

The Marketing AI Institute publishes exclusive content on AI news, trends, and resources from companies and thought leaders transforming how marketing works with artificial intelligence. It also includes regular spotlights on the companies and products using AI to drive innovation within the marketing industry. Subscribe to our newsletter here.

What payment methods to you accept for registration?

Credit card, check, and wire transfers are accepted.

Paying by check? Mail checks to Marketing Artificial Intelligence Institute at 812 Huron Road, Suite 780, Cleveland Ohio, 44115. Checks should be made out to the "Marketing Artificial Intelligence Institute."

Paying by wire? To pay via wire transfer, please contact Ashlee Moehring at ashlee.moehring@maicon.ai for instructions.

I need a copy of my receipt, who should I contact?

Please email Ashlee Moehring at ashlee.moehring@maicon.ai.

Is there free WiFi? What’s the password?

Yes, we will offer WiFi. The password will be provided onsite.
