MAICON 2027 Frequently Asked Questions

Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio

The Main Conference pass includes the MAICON Opening Night Party on Oct. 5, plus two full days of keynotes, main stage, and breakout sessions on Oct. 6–7. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a networking happy hour are included.

The AI for CMOs Experience includes everything in the Main Conference pass, plus the half-day AI for CMOs Summit and lunch on Oct. 5, a CMOs Summit Opening Reception on Oct. 4, and executive perks during the main conference: lounge access, priority seating, and a private executive networking lunch. This pass is open to CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and senior marketing leaders, and requires approval.

You can add a Tuesday Workshop (Oct. 5, 1–4pm) or On-Demand Recordings to either pass. The recordings include select featured sessions from MAICON 2027 and are available about two weeks after the event.

The below meals will be provided on main conference days:

• Lunch (W/Th)
• Snacks during networking breaks

Yes. The Hilton Cleveland Downtown is attached.

No, but there are parking garages and surface lots nearby. 

The Huntington Park Garage is connected to the Hilton Cleveland Downtown and the Convention Center. The garage has 1,200 attached parking spots.

There are also more than 5,000 walkable parking spaces surrounding the Convention Center provided by city surface lots and garages.

Use the Convention Center’s 3-D map to find all suitable parking options.

There is no designated location but Uber/Lyft are active in the Cleveland area. If you are using a rideshare service or taxicab, please direct them to 300 Lakeside Ave. East as your final destination so you enter through the correct doors.

You do not need to pre-register for main conference sessions. If you are attending a workshop as part of your all-access pass, you need to select your workshop at the time of registration.

Credit card, check, and wire transfers are accepted.

Paying by check? Mail checks to Marketing Artificial Intelligence Institute at 812 Huron Road, Suite 780, Cleveland Ohio, 44115. Checks should be made out to the "Marketing Artificial Intelligence Institute."

Visa invitations may be requested during the registration process. Invitation letters will be sent via email within 10 days of receiving payment in full. Visa letters will not be issued unless payment has been completed.

See below for our MAICON 2027 cancellation and substitution policy:

Through July 22, 2027, 50% refund for registration cancellation or 100% transfer to an existing SmarterX program. Program must be selected and be open for registration at the time of cancellation.

Between July 23 and October 4, 2027, no refunds will be provided, but you may send someone in your place or move your fee to another SmarterX program. Program must be selected and open for registration at time of cancellation.

Please Note:

• MAICON ticket rollovers are strictly prohibited.
• Registration funds cannot be transferred to programs not currently available for purchase.
• If funds from a cancellation are not reallocated entirely by October 4, 2027, the remaining balance will be forfeited.
• Substitutions are accepted at no additional charge. Please fill out our substitution form.

Yes. 

No. For the safety of our attendees, each registrant must stop by the registration counter to collect their own conference credentials. 

Yes. We have a limited number of discounted passes for qualified employees of nonprofits and educational institutions. Nonprofits will need to provide proof of 501(c)(3) status. Educational institutions will need to email us from their .edu address. Only one discounted pass is available per organization or institution. Please contact us at registration[at]smarterx.ai for details.

Please note: The Main Conference pass, the Tuesday Workshop add-on and the On-Demand Recordings add-on are eligible for the nonprofit/education discount. No discount is offered for the AI for CMOs Experience.

Yes. Groups of four or more receive 10% off current pricing. Please register all participants at one time so the discount can be applied automatically. For groups of 10+, please reach out to Cathy McPhillips for a custom package. 

Yes. We do have a limited number of press passes available for qualified individuals. Please email Cathy McPhillips for more details.

If you need a replacement badge, please visit the registration desk. Replacement badges are available for an additional fee, and a valid photo ID matching the name on your registration is required.

Our Call for Speakers closes at the end of February each year. However, we will still review submissions to fill late-stage agenda openings or gaps as needed, and we use this same form for our other events.

Yes, with the On-Demand Recordings add-on. Attendees who add it to either pass get 12 months of access to select session recordings in AI Academy after the event.

Attendees without the add-on won’t have access to on-demand content, but you can add On-Demand Recordings to your registration at any time.

Yes. Instructions on how to download session presentations will be emailed post-conference to all attendees.

Yes, on-demand content has captions.

Presentations are for the benefit of in-person conference attendees and video-on-demand pass holders. Conference sessions may not be audio or video recorded. Sharing photos from the conference is encouraged, but please do not disturb the production of a conference session.

By registering to attend the conference, you acknowledge and accept that you may appear in photos or videos published by show organizers, sponsors, speakers, or other attendees.

We do not share or sell MAICON attendee lists. However, registered attendees can connect and network with fellow attendees through the official event app.

If you receive an email from a third party offering to sell you a MAICON attendee list, it is a scam and is not affiliated with MAICON or SmarterX. Please forward the email to cathy.mcphillips@smarterx.ai so our team can address it.
