MAICON brings together top visionaries and experts in the field of AI during a three-day conference packed with actionable sessions and networking events—all to position you as the change agent your organization (and career) needs. In this ongoing speaker series, we’re featuring these extraordinary leaders, with forward-looking predictions, actionable tips you can use today, and a preview of their MAICON 2025 sessions.
Pam Boiros, Chief Marketing Officer at her firm Bridge Marketing Advisors, is a driving force in Boston’s marketing AI community. She’s also the founder of Marketing AI Jump Start, an AI upskilling program, and the co-founder of Women Applying AI.
Before diving into AI, Pam served as CMO at meQuilibrium, Skillsoft, and other leading tech firms. Her AI journey began in late 2022, when a teammate casually mentioned ChatGPT at a holiday gathering. On the subway ride home, she tested her first prompt—and that moment sparked a transformation.
Throughout 2023, Pam immersed herself in AI, ultimately making the decision to shift her career entirely in that direction. In 2024, she repositioned Bridge Marketing Advisors to focus on serving AI-forward B2B software providers and began taking AI-related courses at MIT.
Catch Pam at MAICON, where she’ll share how to reframe your team’s approach to AI adoption.
Session Preview: Reframe Business Challenges as AI Fuel
AI’s possibilities are endless, but without focus, it’s easy to waste time on scattered experiments. Pam’s approach starts with pinpointing the most critical business challenges and using them as a springboard for AI innovation.
“Problems are AI fuel,” she said. “This session will show attendees how to articulate problems with context so AI tools can optimally be used to provide solutions.”
Pam will walk attendees through The Kendall Framework, a structured method to reframe challenges, prioritize opportunities, and turn AI into a strategic advantage. You’ll leave with a clear, actionable plan to harness your AI tools for measurable impact.
Lesson Learned: AI Is a Team Sport
Experimenting with AI can feel isolating, but in reality, going it alone limits what’s possible.
“AI is a team sport,” said Pam. “Problem definition, context gathering, and use case development are all more powerful when diverse points of view are considered.”
That belief inspired her to launch the Marketing AI Jump Start initiative as a collaborative training experience. Over the years, she’s seen how team members are “inspired to jump in” when they witness colleagues achieving results with AI.
Her advice for your next project: start with a shared question like, “How might we…?” and see where it takes you.
Looking Ahead: Navigating the Highs and Lows of AI Adoption
Over the next decade, AI adoption is likely to bring both remarkable breakthroughs and difficult challenges for individuals and businesses alike. Pam foresees inspiring success stories alongside cautionary tales that reveal AI’s darker side.
“All of us who are leading the charge for AI literacy need to also take a stand to ensure AI is a net positive for humanity and society at all levels,” she said.
