MAICON brings together top visionaries and experts in the field of AI, during a three-day conference packed with actionable sessions and networking events—all to position you as the change agent your organization (and career) needs. In this ongoing speaker series, we’re featuring these extraordinary leaders, with forward-looking predictions, actionable tips you can use today, and a preview of their MAICON 2025 sessions.

From the early days of content marketing to the rise of inbound, automation, and now generative AI, Taylor Radey has worked at the intersection of strategy, technology, and change management for over 15 years. During her time at PR 20/20 (HubSpot’s first agency partner), she observed the launch of the Marketing AI Institute firsthand.

She said, “It was a 2021 blog post written by Mike Kaput—a review of Hyperwrite, titled 'AI Wrote a 650-Word Blog Post For Me'—that changed everything. I realized then that generative AI was at a tipping point, finally powerful enough and cost-effective enough for the average business.”

Taylor immediately started experimenting and worked with clients to pilot AI tools for content creation. Today, through her company Randall Pine, she helps small to mid-sized businesses adopt AI, optimize workflows, and embrace all the change that comes with it.

Session Preview: Create Actionable Workflows with AI

Today, we see average AI-generated content everywhere—summaries, best practices, social media posts, and so on. The key to rising above it? Tap into what makes your brand different.

“That’s your expertise, your lived experience, and your voice,” Taylor said.

During her session, she will provide you with the tools you need (i.e., the toolkit) to capture subject matter expertise and the know-how to transform that expertise into usable knowledge (think: themes, campaigns, and messaging guides).

Using tools like custom GPTs and NotebookLM, you’ll leave her session with “at least one workflow you can put into practice immediately—and a whole new way to think about what makes your marketing uniquely valuable.”

Lesson Learned: Don’t Dilute Your Work—Deepen It

Many see AI as a tool to do things faster, double your output, and ultimately put in less effort. And while it absolutely can help you do those things, you’re just scratching the surface.

Taylor pointed out that the deeper opportunity lies in doing better work.

So instead of rushing the process, she encourages marketers to use AI tools thoughtfully to level up the quality of your thinking and overall strength of strategies and content.

In her words:

“Bring together the best of AI with the best of you. Don’t dilute your work—deepen it.”

Looking Ahead: Businesses Will Embrace an AI-First Mindset

Businesses are stuck in the license-purchasing phase of AI adoption. Taylor hopes that more teams will not only buy the tools, but offer the right training, support, and permissions to make a true impact.

“I want to see more businesses embrace an AI-first mindset—where using AI isn’t extra work, but just how the work gets done.”

Beyond business use, she thinks individual use will accelerate too. Thanks to more user-friendly interfaces, such as voice-enabled prompting, AI is starting to feel more like a teammate and less intimidating.

She added:

“We’re going to see AI that feels more useful and more integrated into how we live and work, especially for research, decision-making, and creative collaboration. The question is whether organizations will catch up with how their teams are already using it.”

AI Advice for Service Businesses

Taylor’s recent blog post captures the core message behind her MAICON session: that AI is democratizing access to knowledge, and in doing so, it’s commoditizing much of what marketers and service providers have traditionally offered.

And on top of this, when companies over-optimize for efficiency, they risk becoming indistinguishable from one another — AI-powered teams just churning out the statistical average of marketing, sales, and service.

What remains valuable (and irreplaceable) is lived experience, deep expertise, and hard-won intuition. This article outlines how companies can double down on their unique insights by turning inward, mining your team's lived experience, deep expertise, and judgment, and transform them into their most valuable assets.

Use the 5x5 AI Framework to uncover AI use cases in business

This is one of Taylor’s favorite resources, especially for individuals and teams who feel overwhelmed or stuck. The 5x5 method simplifies everything: it helps people examine their day-to-day tasks and quickly identify new opportunities to leverage AI.

She noted that her prompt library and AI policy templates are a lot more popular, but that the 5x5 template is a hidden gem.

5 Stages of AI Adoption: Your 2025 AI Playbook

This piece is written with team leaders and internal champions in mind. It breaks down what each stage of adoption looks like, the signs you’re stuck, what to focus on, and how to progress.

Taylor said, “I created this post to give structure to what often feels like a messy, nonlinear journey. Teams can use this as a roadmap to set expectations, communicate internally, and prioritize next steps.”

Expertise, Squared: The AI Toolkit for B2B Marketing Teams

As AI goes mainstream, businesses face a choice: blend in or stand out. And the way to be irreplaceable? Scale what you do best.

In this tactical, fast-paced session, you’ll learn how to use AI to document, systematize, and scale your expertise—from thought leadership to domain expertise to strategy. Whether you’re running an agency or leading a marketing team, you’ll walk away with ready-to-use tools, templates, and use cases that help you work smarter without compromising what makes you great.

Featuring deep dives into five real-world workflows using leading tools like Google’s NotebookLM, ChatGPT custom GPTs, and more, you’ll see exactly how to:

  • Capture your team’s proprietary knowledge and processes
  • Build AI workflows that multiply your output
  • Turn expertise into scalable content, offerings, and campaigns
  • Avoid the “commodity trap” by using AI to deepen—not dilute—your work

You’ll leave with a handful of examples you can apply immediately, and at least one workflow you’ll want to steal before the session ends.
