Do you want to create long-form content at speed and scale?

Then you should take a look at Article Forge.

Article Forge is an AI tool that uses multiple language models to generate longer-form content for everything from blog posts to product descriptions.

The result? You can use the tool to automatically generate longer-form content to speed up your content marketing program and rank higher in search.

We spoke with Dana Stasieluk, Head of Growth at Article Forge, to learn more about this AI-powered marketing tool.

In a single sentence, describe Article Forge.

Article Forge is an AI writer that researches, plans, and writes entire long form articles in one click.

How does Article Forge use AI?

Article Forge uses transformer (encoder/decoder deep learning) models, scalable machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, and natural language generation.

What are the primary marketing use cases for your AI-powered tech?

Producing SEO content at scale—from entire 1,500+ word articles and blog posts to concise product descriptions.

What makes your AI-powered solution smarter than traditional approaches and products?

Compared to writing manually: Article Forge removes significant amounts of the time needed to research, plan, and write content from scratch. In addition, Article Forge naturally writes content that is optimized for search, so there is little to no need to go back and optimize content manually (Article Forge content actually ranks just as well as, if not slightly better than, content written by humans—we ran a case study). Put simply, Article Forge is an SEO content expert so you don't have to be. Finally, depending on your content needs, Article Forge content may be good enough to publish as is, but if not, editing a fully formed, structured draft is significantly easier/faster than walking through the whole process manually.

Compared to outsourcing content writing: Article Forge eliminates the need to find, vet, hire, manage, and wait for content writers in addition to the benefits described above. Said another way, Article Forge eliminates the majority of the passive and active time spent producing content. Not to mention, Article Forge is significantly cheaper than hiring writers.

Compared to using other AI writing tools: When using AI writing assistants, you still need to walk through the entire writing process to produce a full article. Beyond this, most AI-powered solutions are currently using GPT-3 which has significant shortcomings. One, GPT-3 does not have access to any external information—it writes completely parametrically (from memory). This results in inaccurate and redundant content. Two, GPT-3 can only write a limited amount of information at a time, which generally leads to the need to work with the AI writing assistant to generate one new paragraph at a time. Three, GPT-3 is a jack of all trades and a master of none while Article Forge's ensemble of models were specifically trained to excel at the task of writing entire factually accurate, relevant, SEO-optimized articles automatically.

Put simply, Article Forge is significantly easier/more efficient to use and much higher quality than other AI writing assistants.

Are there any minimum requirements for marketers to get value out of your solution?

No.

Who are your ideal customers in terms of company size and industries?

Any person, company, or agency that is interested in content marketing and ranking higher. Article Forge can be an alternative for an existing content marketing strategy, or an efficient way for new marketers to start a content strategy—an alternative for non-consumption.

What do you see as the limitations of AI as it exists today?

I could answer this question in many ways, but when looking at AI in writing, factual accuracy and understanding a brands style/voice are the two biggest.

What do you see as the future potential of AI in marketing?

This is also a question that can have many answers! One of them is: AI has the potential to help lower the barriers to entry for SEO and digital marketing so that SMBs and individuals have the ability to compete with larger corporations that have historically dominated niches even when they are not the most relevant sources/solutions.

Any other thoughts on AI in marketing, or advice for marketers who are just getting started with AI?

Making use of AI does not have to be difficult or expensive. Taking advantage of AI is not something to be afraid or wary of, it is an incredible opportunity to increase efficiency and get ahead of the curve.
