Narratize helps you create impactful scientific, technical, and medical content.

The solution's AI extracts insights from subject matter experts and tailored knowledge bases. Then it turns them into high-converting, technically-accurate content. (Think content like thought leadership, clinical insights reports, and whitepapers.)

We spoke with Narratize CEO, Katie Trauth Taylor, to learn how Narratize works and how you can get value out of it.

In a single sentence or statement, describe Narratize.

Narratize combines the power of narrative science with cutting-edge generative AI technology to ensure that no great idea is left untold.

How does Narratize use artificial intelligence in its products?

Building on expert-extracted insights from our users and proprietary narrative algorithms, Narratize leverages multi-step AI workflows to craft convincing and converting content.

Narratize extends what large language models (LLMs) know through intentionally designed knowledge bases to contextualize and tailor content. As an LLM agnostic platform, we utilize a model or models within workflows dependent on the task at hand.

What are the primary marketing use cases for your AI-powered solutions?

High-effort content drives 10 times the business value over lower-effort deliverables. Narratize tackles the highest-effort, most technical marketing use cases in generative AI today to bring results-driving deliverables to life up to 60 times faster.

From thought-leadership quality articles to clinical insights reports to white papers, Narratize bridges the gap between SMEs and marketers through intuitive collaboration features and generative AI co-authoring assistance to help teams create accurate, compelling content that scales.

What makes your AI-powered solution smarter than traditional approaches and products?

Narratize is infused with industry-specific context and over 30 proprietary narrative algorithms that are proven to influence target customers for disruptive new products.

Built by a team of PhD-level scientific and technical communicators with over a decade of content marketing experience working with fast-growth startups and Fortune 1000 brands, Narratize is designed to clarify the complicated and make it easier to create the content that drives business value.

Are there any minimum requirements for marketers to get value out of your AI-powered technology? (e.g. data, list size, etc.)

We meet our customers where they are on their journey towards generative AI readiness. A familiar pain point among innovative enterprises is the challenge of effective communication between research and development, product, marketing, and sales.

If this pain point—extracting insights from subject matter experts and transforming them into high-converting, technically-accurate content for savvy B2B buyers—feels familiar, you are ready for a solution like Narratize.

Who are your ideal customers in terms of company size and industries?

We are serving scientific, technical, and medical companies in the Fortune 1000.

What do you see as the limitations of AI as it exists today?

Obviously, accuracy has been the most widely-publicized limitation of generative AI specifically this year; that's one reason why we focus so intently on creating technology that limits inaccuracies for our customers in high-reliability industries.

But the challenge that feels just as pressing today is ensuring that generative AI is diverse, equitable, accessible, and inclusive. When groundbreaking technologies see widespread market adoption, years of hard-won progress can be erased—unless they are designed with DEAI best practices from the start. Our vision is to propel DEAI efforts for the enterprises we serve, and by extension their customers, through technology that subverts bias in communication.

What do you see as the future potential of AI in marketing?

AI will transform not only how we write, but how we work and even how we think. Advancements will empower us to personalize evidence-based content at scale with high levels of accuracy.

Any other thoughts on AI in marketing, or advice for marketers who are just starting with AI?

Generative AI has been compared to a power tool for marketers—and we are already seeing incredible gains in productivity and efficiency through its use. But these gains are best realized when teams provide the right solutions to the right people.

Look for opportunities to optimize existing workflows with generative AI, and ask vendors to clarify how their solution solves your unique problem. Involve marketing teams in use case ideation to understand the right areas for AI assistance.
